Chubbie Cubbie's Zoo Activities
Activity name:
Give a Zebra His Stripes
Materials needed:
Printout of zebra without stripes (click
here to get it)
Black paint
Plastic fork
Bowl
Any color piece of construction paper (optional)
Preparation:
Print out a zebra picture for each child. Put some black paint
into a bowl.
Carrying out the activity:
Have the children dip
their fork into the black paint and then drag it along the zebra's body to
give him some stripes.
When the pictures are dry the children may
glue them onto a colored piece of construction paper.

Zoo Animal Matching Game
Materials needed:
Printout of matching game (click
here to get it)
Preparation:
Print out
a copy of the matching game and cut it apart
where indicated. You may wish to print it on cardstock for
stability.
Carrying out the activity:
Have the children mix
up the game pieces and place them upside down on a table or other flat
surface. Have the children take turns flipping over two pieces at a
time until they find a match. When they do have them set it aside.
For younger children you may place the pieces face up for easier matching.
